Celebrating of Austen Javelin Lee

Austen's life was powerful and impacting to all of us, even if his life was extremely short. We're happy to have had a few months to expect his arrival and a few months to engage in prayer over his health. Austen was a rallying effect for most of us. We so wanted to celebrate his life and growth and his smiles and his learning. We had hoped that he would eventually grow to lead us in His unique giftings. And we wanted his life to be full and powerful and profound. Yet when his time on earth was compromised we had to say like Jesus, "If possible let this cup pass from us, yet never-the-less not our will but Yours be done". Although we don't know the reasons why he was taken from us, we have conceded to our Heavenly Father's will and our confession is still a resolute, "God, You are a good God! There is no fault in You!"

Austen's spirit has gone back to Heaven to join the throngs of saints who've gone on before. He's now in the safe and tender care of the Heavenly hosts. Our hope, like King David with the death of His baby, is that although we cannot bring Austen back to us, we will go to see him in God's timing. We release and commend Austen's spirit into your care, Great Shepherd.

So God we say Thank You for Your sovereignty over our lives and over Austen's life. We do not fret or second guess the way things are, but rather we can see that the seeds of righteousness that were planted in this journey are already bearing good fruit in our lives and in the lives of those around us. You are a good and wise God and always do all things well.

Lord, we ask for greater grace to see things from Your perspective; a greater grace to find peace in the middle of storms and a greater grace to release miracles and healing where there is disease and brokenness. Today, our Lord, we're committed to pressing even more earnestly toward a life and lifestyle of righteousness with victory over this fallen world. Let Your Kingdom come and Your will be done here on earth, and in Impact, just like it is in Heaven!!!

Now, Jesus, in Your wisdom and timing would your give us more babies in the natural and in the spirit realms. Let new life be a common occurrence all around us. Let new life emerge in each of our spirits, in Impact Harvest Church, and for Jack and Annie. God bless Jack and Annie with the deepest peace without emotional scars and give them joyful and faith-filled visions of the future that will make their hearts rejoice in the Goodness of God. Amen!

It's been exactly one week since your birth and passing. Time seems to go by just a little faster now. I still miss you and the time we've spent together as a family. Daddy, you and I had travelled to so many places together over the 42-week period. God has brought you here alive and taken you away to rest in His loving arms so quickly. We're thankful for the opportunity to be your parents, however short the time might have been. We're forever your parents and we love you dearly. You'll continue to be in our memories, always.

May you rest in peace and continue to be the happy baby that you are. Enjoy all the colors and heavenly lollipops (that's for you, Jack) up there. We'll see you one day for sure.

From seeing Austen for the first time to the baby shower... it's been over 40 weeks now and Austen has kept us waiting... for God's best timing. Lord, we trust in Your provision and supernatural ways of weaving things together.

I am excited for Austen Javelin's arrival... how long? when? they are none of my concerns. I'm determined to be a HAPPY mom-to-be. Please join me and be my cheerleaders. Thank you all so much!

Across from the studio lies a beautiful cottage building which we later found out to be "The Four Seaons Tea Room"...

[ Latter Rain Outpouring: Day 1 ]

Rev. Mike Kingsley and his family are here with us this weekend. We've been expecting great things to take place in our prayer time. Just a few thoughts to share here... a lifestyle of worship includes prayers. Many times christians come before the Lord and say a whole bunch of 'stuff', like a request list, and consider that a 'prayer time'. mmm... I believe that true prayer comes out of a position of the heart that is in love with the Lord and wanting God's Kingdom to invade the very thing we pray for (such as a situation, a person, etc.).

Mike shared about 3 things that would rock our world to becoming radical christians who live outside of the box. They are: Value. Demand. Flexibility.
First, he shared about a story of a man who has been living on a piece of land and grows everything he needs right there. To this man, his economy is within the boundaries of this piece of land and that's all the person knows. One day, some Americans discovered that there are valuable diamonds buried underneath the land that this man owns. They went to the man and asked whether or not he knew of this treasure underneath his property. The man was ignorant and knew nothing about such treasure, let alone the value this treasure holds.

... aren't we like that sometimes? Many christians simply have no idea about the treasure of life placed in our hands (the Word of God and the demonstration of His Power). And we thought we're born poor and know nothing about the treasure, the wealth that our Heavenly Papa has prepared for us as our inheritance. We lack the knowledge of who we are in God's Kingdom: our Kingdom identity.

Once we understand the value of this treasure... we must make up our minds and DEMAND to see the vision God has given us (His glory) to come to pass! Lastly, make sure we have the flexibility to roll with the Holy Spirit and never turn any 'Godly good intention' acts into traditions or routine. That'd really kill the flow of the Holy Spirit and God's creativity.

So...are you guys ready to stay fascinated with God's love and rest in His presence more to bring down His glory NATURALLY without striving and performance? Believe me. I can't wait until this weekend... more is coming to rock our world. Stay tuned...

Look at what I've found today! I must admit that I did a little research on our local restaurants, out of curiosity. My bro Johnny and I have been longing to find good hearty american diner type of spots to satisfy our cravings~ yeah!

So, I drove myself today and took a little walk in Old Town Monrovia. Here's a place called Merengue, a cuban cafe and bakery. Have you ever tried a steak sandwich called Pan con Bistec (Cuban steak marinated in lime juice and garlic)? All I could say is...super! The sandwich has a rich texture, not to mention the calories that come as a byproduct of all things 'yummy'. :-)

Greetings to all!

Our lovely sister mama Flora called me last night about her dream. She dreamt of herself, Tiffa and myself in a room. Jack was not present for some reason. I was in labor when Tiffa turned to her ma and said "I can see the baby's head crowning." Just as Flora went and checked on the baby, she saw the baby's entire body came out. "What a healthy, pretty, chubby little boy," said Flora. Then Flora remembered that she didn't have the tool to cut the embilical cord as she was standing in awe of the creation of the Lord. She began to praise God...

Wow! What a story. Thank you, Flora, for sharing this with me. Let's continue to focus on the Lord and see His Kingdom come and His will be done. amen!

[ NEWS FLASH ]

Not many people read this blog... I know...I'm not very good at updating... alright I shall change that situation. I really pray that whatever I put up here becomes an inspiration and encouragement to those who take their time to visit.

For those of you who know about our most recent news... the baby-on-the-way has received a negative report from the specialist in regards to his growth, particularly in the areas of arms, legs and chest cavity. Well well... most of you know that there was no prior sign showing the possibility of the baby's delay in growth... so the news came chocking of course and I felt darkness surrounding me and not knowing when I could wake up from this nightmare. Guess what... it's too easy to fall into self-pity and to take a trip inside of your heart (you know the whole "looking in" stuff) trying to come up with 'something' to help make sense of the situation. I remember Pastor Bill Johnson once said something like this, "I've never seen a person going in (taking a trip inware) coming out encouraged." Indeed... the devil likes to use its old trick called "quit trip". It's simple and easy. Believe it or not, you and I flirt with that idea of quit tripping ourselves quite often. So, Jack and I have been crying for the past 2 days... yup... we know that our God is in total control yet we were not in the position to shout with joy...at least not just yet...

Until we began receiving words, confirmation and your precious prayers... Kingdom reality begins to form around us and wipes away the earthly one. Believe me, I would rather be taken at that very moment instead of living in the darkness. However, I know in my heart that God wants to show me something... I pray (and please continue to pray for us) that God wants me to exchange my earthly reality with His Kingdom reality. He wants to help me see the situation from His Kingdom perspective... hahaha^^ what a funny God. yup~

Impact family has been a great support to us. I'm sure God's using this opportunity to teach us what true parenthood is about especially when Project Elisha is part of our core values. So...you ask me what I have in mind now? nothing much...really... I'm planning to get back on the 'right' diet, do my part as the mother of this baby and trust that my God is a good God and He has ONLY good things for those who love Him.

Dr. Jesus... I'm ready for Your prognosis... :-p

What a cherry day! Jack and I and a bunch of ppl hung out at Impact... guess what we did... finalizing 2008 finance and calculating how much stuff our lovely church has on site. haha^^ for those of you who are not around much, I guess you don't get to know/see what often go behind the scenes when they're no spotlights and no one around. All I can say is that you guys at Impact are a bunch of unsung heros who dedicate time and energy for God's glory. I'm just so proud of you all. We actually had a ball in the midst of working through the files and all. :-p

mom cooked amazing meals for the past 2 days. I hope to get to spend some quality time with her and just relax. It gets more and more difficult as one grows older to be "relaxed", you know. Many times people live in "constant worries" with absolutely no awareness of potential damage it may cause. So... learn to relax at an early age is a good things. However, knowing and putting hard work into action is also important. Otherwise, there will be 'no comparison' to being relax since we'll be ALWAYS relaxed without hard work involved. Does that make any sense to y'all? haha^^

Jack and I spent about 2 wks in Taiwan for 2 reasons:

(1) Attended his maternal grandpa's funeral; (2) Spent time with family.

For those 2 purposes, we did a great job...little pad on the shoulder.

This trip was particularly meaningful since it was the first time after jack and I got married to be in Taiwan together. I've since gone back several times but he wasn't able to go along :-( The trip just once again reminded me of the frailty of life and how we often take things/people for granted. Serious matter. I've decided to enjoy every moment I get to spend with people I know. How often do we worry about circumstances far away or people we're not with instead of enjoying the moment we get to share with the ones NEXT to us NOW?

Having a baby...a living breathing creature inside of me also helps reshape some of my thoughts. I suddenly become ultra aware of where I am and what the environment tells me. Wow...I'm carrying a well-travelled baby even before he/she is born. Good job, baby :-p You've travelled to so many places with mommy and daddy...hope you're having fun just as much as we are :-)

this was the end of the line when I arrived...guess what...this was only "1" side of this "super long"line. The one and only place for early voting in the entire county of Los Angeles (can you believe that?).

this is what I did...in the afternoon of Sunday November the 2nd in the year of 2008...

I was seriously concerned about not being able to make it through the line at the early polling place on Monday before I fly out. Guess what...God knew my heart and opened a door for me. On our way to the rally in L.A. downtown, Jennifer Young mentioned that there are early polling places open over the weekend. I then called and got connected with a real person...yes...no the machine!!! omg! It took me less than a second to decide that I will drive myself to Norwalk after we dropped off the gang at the rally. Half hour later, I found myself waiting at the end of the line with at least 1,000+ people in front of me.

It was a total mind-game! I simply made up my mind by focusing on my prize - the "I Voted"sticker :-) I began making friends and small talk with people around me while hoping that I could simply forward the clock by several hours. Since I arrived at the place without much "physical preparation", I did not bring any chair or books to help me through the boredom of waiting in line. This was crazier than waiting 2 hours for a ride in Disneyland or any other theme parks I've been to!!!

Some chinese newspaper guy came by and interviewed me. Thank God he didn't have a camera...haha^^^

so...after 5 long hours in line, it's finally my turn to vote! oh yeah~ I can't even begin to describe the feeling when my number was finally called. It was surreal!

Well well...here are some pictures for the sharing. SEE those crazy people holding the Yes on Prop 8 signs? I'm so proud of them!!! Thanks for coming out. I felt loved and your support meant so much to me. Cheers to all the warriors who stood on the sidewalk this afternoon!!!

I still remembered taking this shot with jack's grandpa from his mother's side. He's such a sweet heart. I'm not quite sure of his age, somewhere around 86 or 87. A quiet man who taught elementary school for decades before he retired. I personally don't know grandpa well enough to share more. But within my limited opportunities to hang out with him, I truly adore him. Jack's maternal grandpa passed away this past Tuesday in a hopital in Taipei due to several complications, but mostly his old age.

May I say, "Rest in peace, Grandpa Chen."

You are in our hearts forever~Let us all spend more time with the elders of the family and cherish those memories as we grow older together.

[ CRAZY OCTOBER~! ]

October is always an exciting month to me. Do you know why???

haha^^ My wedding anniversary is in October. My mother-in-law's birthday is in October so Jack and I always visit her in Vancouver around her birthday. To top it all off, there seems to be new things happening every October!

This October, we've got Pastor Mike Kingsley from Uganda visiting the church early this month. Jack and I then flew back to visit Jack's family and spent a few quality days relaxing. Our bodies, souls and spirits felt so refreshed afterwards... that's what good quality time with family and good food can do to u... :-p

The day after we got back, we drove down to San Diego to pick up THE HENDRICKSONS!!! It was truly a pleasure having them here with us AGAIN. We just can't have enough of the Hendricksons, can we? This is the first time Mark and Deb travelled to Impact with their sons, Luke & Johnny. Great time with my newly found family members!!! The family has been more than an inspiration for me personally. Mark and Deb homeschooled all 4 of their kids~ omg...what a challenge for a mom-to-be, eh. Well, they did it in small steps but what really moves me is their dedication to their family and love for one another. It's truly precious when you hang around people who sincerely ENJOY one another's company... that type of bonding is contagious especially when it's fused by the love of God.

Today is Jack's day off... so I followed his footstep and took a day off also. The truth is I feel tired easily (a common thing during the first trimester) and I am in need of good rest. Insomnia is also something I've been battling with (also another common situation). All in all, I feel very blessed and quite "happy". I guess it's ultra important to stay happy and healthy at all times. Pray for me, please~

I also discovered a very yummy shabu shabu house called "Money Pot" in President Square Plaza (99 ranch market arcadia). It's only been open for 4 months. They use primarily organic meat and the soup base is all vegetable and seaweed. Very delicious and healthy! When I talked with the owner, she said that many pregnant ladies eat there (before knowing that I am one too). oh my... was that supposed to be a sign?

my lovely hubby got his ear pierced yesterday. he has been waiting to find the right moment to get this done since he was 19. now he finally found the perfect reason to get an ear piercing = a welcome token to our first baby due in mid April of next year!

we're very excited about the news and would like to ask all of you for your prayers for a healthy (for both mom and the baby), full term, safe delivery of the baby. God is a good God and every child contains a God dream. I hope to share this journey with you all and prayerfully wish that my story would encourage us all to live out the best that we can!

We spent an amazing time with our brothers and sisters at River of Life Church in Vegas. They have such desire for God to do something new in their lives. I was honored to worship with these revivalists and took part in their success! God is truly raising up a generation of healing revivalists who live for the one thing-to dwell in the house of the Lord and gaze upon His beauty daily. Healing revivalists in a lovesick relationship with Jesus Christ. I can't help but thank God for His faithfulness and constant outpouring of His divine creativity upon those who seek Him. I am really falling more and more in love with singing with the Word. It was so much fun and every time I do it, I always get a kick out of it. Seriously BIG TIME. I pray that all of us will begin to tap into Harp & Bowl more and more each day. I also pray that we'll be contending for a daily revival in our hearts, for all things flow out of the desire of our hearts.

I've also begun to understand the importance of always giving our heart a little checkup. I've grown into a habit of checking the position of my heart whenever I feel a challenge/difficult situation has come my way. Many times, the outcome has long been determined the moment we set our minds on a situation. Therefore, it's extremely critical to always make sure (double, triple check) that our hearts come alive and the positioning of our hearts is aligned with God's heart. I can never say enough about how this attitude shift has radically transformed my life experience time after time.

Therefore, HE sends people to our lives to help us grow and stay focused. Of course, that's only when we give permission for the Holy Spirit to do the job. Oh, the power of free will. crazy stuff. Lord, I ask for your grace to shower me and make me a princess living under the kiss of Heaven.

I've been so blessed to be able to attend this special training at Bethel Church. Words cannot describe fully of my appreciation toward the opportunity. "The Hem of His Garment" - drawing from the book of Mark, chapter 5:25 where it talks about a woman suffering from bleeding for 12 years got completely healed by touching the cloak of Jesus. Her faith had saved her due to her determination to reach out and believing in God's healing power. It's so true that Jesus is simply looking for a platform to show up. How many of us today allow God to simply show up without reservation in all walks of our lives? I pray that all of us bring expectation before the Lord. Let's ask Papa God to do what He loves to do best - lavish His love over His beloved and let us simply be vessles for the Holy Spirit to flow through. I want to touch the hem of Your garment, Jesus...won't You blow the wind and come in a mighty way to wake me up?! Increase Your love in me so that I may see others through Your eyes. Yes. It is final that we're moving...

a new chapter of life has begun... and the craziest part of all is that the church may be moving soon. please keep this in your prayer and ask God to reveal His heart and supply us with His grace. I was just singing Don Moen's "God Will Make A Way" today while loading/unloading in between my new home & my old home :-

I'm having such mix feelings about this move...In one hand, the current place has had so much history with IMPACT and the cores...so many (significant) stories of my life has taken place here over the past 3.5 years; on the other hand, i'm moving to a familiar place so it's not a big deal after all. Plus, downsizing is a good thing. We all need to clean the house once in a while. Lord, I need the wisdom to prioritize my life better and maximize the gifts You've given me.

My lovely bridesmaid Tina got married on 05.24.08 with her lovely hubby Anthony! I am so so so happy for you guys!!! The wedding was held at an atrium located in the financial center. It was catered by a wonderful chinese restaurant...forgot the name by now...man...it sometimes yucks me growing old...i've gotta start doing some memory exercise. Who wants to practice with me, eh?

All in all, the wedding was beautiful and there's nothing better than having all those you care about there with you on the wedding day. Special + meaningful + beautiful...Of course, both jack and i had a few drinks and started dancing...while no one else was... go figure!

Yes. We went to laguna beach for our monthly ministry group meeting. oh my...the meeting location is simply...should I say...divine! yes. It's the Montage resort & spa at laguna beach off pacific coast hwy. I really pray that all of us would immerse ourselves in such breeze and quality place and become somewhat enlightened :-) Does that sound deep? haha...not trying to be but simply would like to be at an excellent place to learn more about seeking excellency in work, in life, and in relationship.

Building relationship...that's a big part of what we do here living on the earth. I hope this trip have brought us closer to one another. Ideas being exchanged with such inspiring view...mmm...great snacks...AWESOME company...what else can we ask for more? We are living Heaven on Earth eh? of course, God's presence was/is with us :-)

Jack and I spent a day driving...indeed... we went down to huntington beach to see some new developments (master-planned communities). On our way back, we stopped by Anjin, a korean BBQ place next to south coast plaza. Later on, we drove through some new communities in Irvine together. It was great fun spending time with Jack, walking through model homes, and chatting up. Though it was still considered a "business trip" since I was primarily there to preview some properties and neighborhoods for clients, I felt very blessed to have Jack and you all in my life. Your prayer and support mean so much to me and I can only hope for better words to show my appreciation.

I am feeling the pain of growth...have you ever felt that?

The Lord's been gracious to have triffled with my weaknesses. I love You, Jesus. You've been kind indeed. It's only Tuesday but somehow I feel like it's been a week. You know what the Lord's been working in me? Character shaping. Fun stuff...

I sense God's hand in my life especially in the area of developing patience and fine-tuning my characters, specifically speaking - my heart's positioning.

Where we position our hearts translate directly into the type of attitude we carry around ourselves as we're out and about doing the regular, mundane things in life.

So, what exactly have I been wearing on my sleeves?

I remember Bill Johnson once said that "I've never met a person digging deep inside coming out encouraged". What we need to focus on in days like this is God's faithfulness. I believe that my faith ceiling is being challenged and yet throughout the process, it will be lifted up to another level as I continue to PRESS ON.

Yes. This is my new name. The girls at the conference all got together last Saturday afternoon and began to call forth God's plan in each one of us. Anointed was the adjective chosen for me. I am extremely excited yet fearful. Yes. It's great to have the anointing of the Lord. I mean...who wouldn't want that, eh? But the reality is HOW can we become the right kind of vessels that are able to contain such outpouring of His Presence? That's the part that always gets me...

The Encounter Conference with Mark & Deb was simply...shall we say... DIVINE! oh yes. God is merciful and gracious that HE showed up as promised. hehe...good stuff...supernatural ones too... I will share more on that later...it's time to hit the sack right now.

A simple prayer from the heart > Dear God, I love You. I adore You. Thank You for loving me and never giving up on me when I was weak. I can never thank You enough but I will continue to do so until the day we see each other face to face. Show Your beauty and let it shine down on me as You have prepared me into a new season of spiritual encounters and maturity. Surprise me with Your creativity, Lord. I'd love to connect with You in a new way every time I come before You and seek You. Thank You for Mark & Deb, for their simple heart, for their love and support, and for their mentoring. I can't thank You enough. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

oh btw, I was reading what I wrote on April 2 before the conference where I mentioned that I sensed in my spirit that a new chapter has begun. God, You ROCK my world!!! I was prophesying our future there. Mark & Deb mentioned about entering into a new season today in the car then afterwards we did the tunnel of light at IMPACT. The thought didn't strike me until I read the last entry before starting writing this one. haha^^ God, You've got a great sense of humour. And I thank You for the confirmation and for leading me into a foresight, reaching into the future that You've prepared for us long ago.

SO... last Sunday was interesting. The Lord totally showed up and took us all by storm. It's such an honor to be in the room with all these warriors. The sharings were awesome. God is timely, amen. I guess we all have to learn to trust in His timing more. Not an easy task for sure. But at the end of the day, it will be worthwhile. here's a brief version of what I've learned so far...

1. Last Friday > Bill Johnson shared about the supernatural manifestation/provision of/from God. One of which was Bobby Connors' outcry to the Lord "I want my knife back" that triggered the supernatural realm to respond accordingly. I applied this principle that night...

2. I had been looking for my flash drive (with Jack's name labeled on the back) for a week or so prior to listening to Bill's sharing. So on friday night, I said to the Lord "I want my flashdrive back". Well, shall we just say that the drive didn't pop out in the air right away. However though, On saturday morning, I arrived at church for radical jam rehearsal and reached down to the pocket on my jacket and there it was...my flashdrive's back! haha^^ God you are funny...

3. After the practice, I went to see a client. Shortly after the appointment, I felt a sense of disappointment dragging me down. I immediately responded to the Lord, "I know You will provide." Right there and then, peace entered into my heart; within a minute I received a phone call from someone I didn't expect to hear from and the person asked me to show properties to his friends in an hour! Wow...talk about God's provision and timeliness. God simply brings me business through this person's referral.

Conclusion: Many times we wonder why God's timing always delays. The truth is His timing is always right on and we like to run ahead of schedule while thinking HE is late.

We have great faith; however, it's the presence of doubt that often impairs our vision.

Prayer: Dear God, I pray that there will be no doubt about You in my life. May there be peace, hope and love in me so that my life would be a reflection of who You are. Increase my faith and take it to the next level with actions attach to it. I love you, Jesus Christ. Holy Spirit, I welcome You to be my guidance in all that I do. Thank You. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen!

[ CRAZY SUNDAY ]

So. Andy and I led worship today at IMPACT. It's the first time that just the two of us leading. Quite an experience. Andy went to pick up Abby (kudos!) and they were so faithful to show up on time and help with setups and all. You guys rocked! It's a pleasure working with you both. So professional~

The worship was...shall we say...different. We experimented different styles while keeping just a key and acoustic guitar. I could tell that some of us are not used to "low volume" worship. haha^^ It's good for a change once in a while. We'll have loud and louder ones coming up in the next few weeks. I guarantee!

We'll also be introducing many new songs to all of you in the following weeks. So COME EARLY. PREPARE YOUR HEART. and WORSHIP like there's no tomorrow!

I can sense there's something shifting in the spirit realm around us. It is a blessing in disguise for us as a church (congregationally) and individually. This could be a big setup before our upcoming Encounter Conference. So please please take up your full armor and begin sharpening your weapons for battles. WORSHIP & WORD = WEAPON FOR VICTORY

Jack delivered a message today that stroke a chord with me in a BIG WAY! I believe it was 'the' message of the week from the Lord. He started out with the last verse in the book of Malachi (i'm lazy to quote it for you readers. sorry :-0 ) and talked about how the Lord had not spoken for over 400 years after Malachi finished the book. Wow...imagine no revelation from the Lord for even a day can drive us nuts sometimes, let alone 400 some years... hurts my little brain just to think about it. Then Jack pursued to talk about John the Baptist in the gospel of Matthew. I will spend more time digging on this subject later. Fascinating character of the Bible. Important reference as to what God has planned to do with this generation before Christ returns.

Are we to be like Elijah and John the Baptist? Are we to consecrate ourselves in ways that pleases God's heart? Are we to live a simple lifestyle in pursuit of His Holiness? What is the one thing that we desire the most in life?

I do pray that your answer will be a YES and a positive response to the rest.

The Kingdom of God is to be taken by force (violently)! Loved the illustration. We must feed our spirit men quickly and with loads of nutrients. We must grow strongly in the spirit to bring forth victory in the name of the Lord. Meanwhile, worship and intercession will keep our hearts tenderized and alive. We must learn to love like Christ did in order to fight and bring forth victory like Christ did! Presevere, my dear brothers and sisters.

Let us not lose heart but continue to press in and encourage one another. No one should be alone at a time such as this!

For those of you who were taken back by my 'broke down in tears and wailing today in public', I was hit by the Holy Spirit in a major way. I felt the weight of God's Kingdom pressing down on me, demanding my response to His plan for this generation. Oh, I shall "put my hope in things not seen" because HIS "promises all true" (from Hillsong's 'You Are Faithful'). I was crying out for more of Christ and less of me. More of His heart for the generation and increase our hunger and desire for the Lord.

I miss you all today!!! I was standing the whole time during the 4.5 hour open house this afternoon. (my feet are killing me now >.<) I was invited to join the open house team for this exclusive estate located in San Marino. The listing agent and his partner basically invited me because I'm fluent in Mandarin and grew up in the neighborhood. Guys! It's a privilege knowing our language! Praise the Lord. hehe^^ I will be at Impact next Sunday for sure! Can't wait LoL

There are so many things I've learned over the past week. I'd like to thank our Heavenly Father BIG TIME for setting up this opportunity to get my foot "back" in the door of this neighborhood. There are many other leads I've been following up on and I will trust and count on God's timing for them to come through! Thank you all for your prayer. Let's continue to pray and take territory like Joshua did!

Dear Friends, Intercessors and Zion Aligned:

The prophecy below is very important. Reject all discouragement that is attempting to rob you of your momentum! I am completing the next 8-Day Prayer Focus, so look for that in the next few days.

This past week while we were worshipping it was as if the Lord gave me supernatural vision and I saw our emotions. I could see that the enemy had made ploys against God's saints to block feelings in us, to stop us from gaining new zeal in the Lord. I saw Satan and his forces had erected hidden snares and were creating offenses to wound our well-being and capture our soul expressions, causing us to stumble and lose momentum. Our longing comes from the power of our desire, locked in our emotions. While the Spirit of God is creating a desire for the NEW, the enemy is attempting to ensnare us with old patterns, remove our creative unction, and bring many distractions into our lives. We must rise up now and say, I've got to have You to help me press through into this new place. Reorder my focus so I can pinpoint the enemy movements around me!

During the service, the Spirit of God began to speak the following:
Some of you are voicing that you have been destined to live at the foot of the mount. But I AM saying to you that I Am sending revelation to open your eyes and give you new vision. I hear many of you saying, I see the vision for my future but I have no strength to climb the mount and stake my claim on that which you have shown me. But hear Me NOW! I will cause you to be energized in the night and I will come to you with dreams. I will surprise you with visions in the day and your power naps will begin to produce light to guide you and energy that will cause you to arise and pursue My plan.

Your body, though it seems deadened and locked in a metabolic freeze, will begin to move in a new way, for this is a time of movement. During the next 60 days there will be much movement going on. The enemy has many ploys to stop you from advancing. You will think in your heart that you cannot attain the new place and you will feel like you have been left behind, but I will surprise you with Grace. Then you will say, What I didn't think I could attain, I now can grasp! I have positioned you at the foot of the mount to create a waiting strength in you. You will see Me in a new way when I come to lead you forward. You will feel a new stirring within your emotions. You may weep, but you will experience joy! I will have a people that must come up now! I AM beginning to knock on your door. In the next two months, do not hesitate!

I AM calling you up to a new place. There are avalanches that are forming and you must come above them to decree what I've shown you as you've waited at the foot of the mount this last season. If you will make your shift in these next two months to come up, you will save many from much destruction! I will mount up with wings of eagles. You will move in and fly. Awaken, Awaken! Many have made their camp at the base of the mountain because the river and the water supply are there. However, do not stay in the complacency of last season, waiting for the provision before you start your journey to the new heights pack now and arise! Your provision is waiting at the next level. The river is making an unusual turn upwards. The course of the river is beginning to change. Jump in and go up! A new height, a new momentum and a new strength will enter your soul. hey guys, i truly hope and wish that every time i update my blog, there's always good news...i'm afraid that it's not the case this time.

my dad's youngest brother's (my uncle James) wife just passed away last night in Taiwan. Many of you know me as an outspoken person, but guess what, it's very difficult for me to put my thoughts and translate my feelings into writing. My aunt-in-law was about 42/43-yr-old. My uncle has 2 kids, a 15-yr-old daughter and a 11-yr-old son. They are still so young! I ask of your time to pray for this family for God's salvation to quickly come upon them. Also, ask for God's mercy and grace to fall upon each one of them and to take them over with His mighty love.

It's very intriguing how human beings can get so comfortable with the things that we already have. Have you ever wondered how often we take things and mostly the people around us for granted without having to think about it? How unbelievable you might say. Yes, indeed! God has given us so much already that we get so used to fixing our eyes upon what we don't have rather than what's in our hands. Imagine the cry of Jesus sitting at the right hand of God.

So...R.I.P. dear aunt. I will keep your family in prayer. Thank you all for your prayer & support. This person is the first immediate family member I've lost. And I know she won't be the last one either because every since the day we're born, we are one step closer to death. What makes the difference is whether or not we know where we're going "after" death.

My dearest sista Judie's b-day was last Friday 1/11.

We went to Twin Palms to celebrate. My first experience there with a crazy funk live band! Many "older" folks (in their 30s) were dancing nonstop. The scene was pretty vibrant I'd say. Would there be some 20 somethings commenting about my dance move when I turn 30 one day? mmm... something to keep in mind for sure!

We all chipped in to get Judie her new iPod nano. Her old one broke. >.<

It was great fun and I got to meet a beautiful girl named Amanda. She goes to do this "hot yoga" thing four times a week. mmm... I need to start thinking about exercising on a regular basis to keep my head straight sometimes!

Once again, HAPPY BIRTHDAY judie meimei. I love you very much and pray that God will fill your days with His mighty love. amen!

During this time of the year, I can't help but reflect upon the past year. It has been a fun and wild ride for sure. For about 8 months straight this year, Jack and I had a wild traveling schedules (both for work and for ministry trainings). We certainly had a lot throughout all the busy roadtrips/flying arounds.

I remember how I used to LOVE travelling. Guess what...excessive traveling will make one feel quite the opposite. What I want to do the most is reading at a quiet corner by the fireplace with a cup of tea and absolutely no distractions. Of course, scented candles and a nice velvety throw (from Pottery Barn or Restorations) are to be expected. Oh boy, how imaginative I am!

One of these days I will be spending a few days up on the mountain in a nice cozy cabin with my lovely husband. Total RELAXATION!

My #1 goal for 2008 is to master how to RELAX & FOCUS at the same time. (toughest and an absolute must for all girls)

It's been 2 weeks since my last post. Unbelievable! How time has passed by...

I am so thankful for what has happened over the past 2 weeks. Believe it or not, God has provided me with a listing (meaning I represent the seller). The market has slowed down quite a bit since mid year, but this property somehow generates quite a bit of interest in just 4 days on the market! The price is one of the key selling points. I believe in reasonable pricing and comparable quality of the product. Yes. There are so much I'm learning right now. It gets a bit overwhelming at times but I know MY G-O-D is B-I-G!

Taking one small step at a time while focusing on the endpoint/goal/target/vision! (This should be my new motto)

The real world ain't pretty but Jesus NEVER lived in His little bubble when He was on the earth. And we are called to be just like HIM! Imagine the level of character shaping we must go through. Just got back from the God Chicks Conference 2007.

This year the event was hosted at the PasNaz (a church tugged away at the foothill of Pasadena). Once again, the God Chicks crews have blown us away with extravagant decor & incredible lighting. The program was definitely uplifting and inspiring in many ways.

This year's guest speakers are Dr. Betty Price of the LA Crenshaw Christian Center, Pastor Bobbie Houston from Hillsong Church of Sydney, Australia, and the event host Pastor Holly Wagner of the Oasis Center in Los Angeles. It was such a blessing to listen to these women's life testimonies & what God has planted in their hearts.

Here are some of my thoughts and the highlights of the event!

Besides the many gifts that we've received (yes, did i mention many? oh how we girls just love to be pampered!), the teachings from these women were simply life changing. There were moments of tears and laughter. What a reflection of our lives that there is a season for everything in life.

THIS IS THE TIME! - the theme this year-

Girls! Are you ready to rise up and stay at our posts as God entrusts us with the (if not) many secrets of His hearts. What are we going to do about it, eh?!

I would not forget the closing remarks of Holly when she mentioned the two key points toward building what it takes for a woman to fight for the cause of her life.

1. BE FOCUSED

2. BE COMMITTED

Come to think of it. We girls tend to get sidetracked by the many busy things in our lives and often forget to prioritize. Staying focused on reaching toward the final prize (as apostle Paul mentioned) is the key. Becoming a visionary and possessing a deep conviction will SUSTAIN us throughout the thick and thin of it all. Moreover, we need to be committed to the post that God has assigned to us.

What an interesting film about the life of Beatrix Potter, a famous children's book author/illustrator at the turn of the 20th century. Though the storyline is inspired by real stories, it didn't follow the historical facts in a chronological order. However, Renee Zellweger did a fabulous job portraying the character. Ewan McGregor looked very dashing in the movie! They certainly made a beautifully looking couple on screen.

So. Check out the movie for all you artist/illustrator wannabes & gonnabes. ^^

Debbie, you look fabulous in this picture! I loved how your eye shadows matches with your shirt. Can't believe we'all got down with the whole color coordination scheme. Haha^^ We rock!!!

It was awesome getting to know Mark & Debbie. Not only are they prophetic and crazy about the Lord, but they are simply easy-going and down-to-earth type of people. It's so easy to fall in love with them! Most of us had a hard time parting with them on the final day of the camp.

We're so blessed to have Mark & Debbie join us as our guest speakers for '07 IMPACT summer camp! Their entire family of 7 members are involved in the ministries. Can't wait to invite them all in the future! What an awesome way to raise kids and home school them.

{Love Jesus} is the no. 1 priority in life. And we hope that one day our kids will also catch on with that.

IMPACT summer camp was da bomb!!!

There were 57 of us in total and we had a superb time during the 4-day 3-night gathering.

Our FAITHFUL God TOTALLY showed up!

Some were drunk in the Holy Spirit, some were taken up to have heavenly encounters with the Lord. It was off the hook, y'all! One thing that touches my heart the most is the level of hunger/desire for the baptism of the Holy Spirit that you guys have demonstrated. It is never a ONE TIME DEAL. We must continue to desire Him and ask for more !!!

I am never shy when it comes to 'asking' the Big Papa up there for things.

Believe it or not, God wants to spoil us some time as well as discipline us at times. There is a season for everything in life, eh?

I am particularly grateful for what God has shown me throughout this camp. I've come to a deeper understanding of how God operates and His characters. It's so crucial to know the person you love, isn't it? I hope to devote more time and energy in getting to know more of Him. The same way we often do to the ones we love on earth, right?

Can't wait to see all the testimonies on DVD...

DEAR BLOG,

It's a normal tuesday morning and sitting across from me is my lovely husband. I have no idea why we are up so early in the morning. But one thing I know, our dear Heavenly Papa loves us and always gives us strength to carry on.

I want to pray for the upcoming mission trip to Las Vegas. Lord, prepare our heart to live out a supernatural lifestyle. We need your EXTRA mercy & grace to make YOUR NAME known.

I was in NYC when the water pipe blast happened a few days ago.
Thank God, we’re back safely.

Looks like we’ll be back in NYC in about 2 wks. Lord, we need Your guidance and mercy to give us strength and to lead us into the future! We count on You, the Big Guy up there!

I hope next time we’ll get to see Broadway show. And I still want to go to MOMA.

it's been nearly 20 days since my last update.
Truly, I've been extremely busy lately due to unbelievable travel schedules.
oh Lord, what have I gotten myself into? However, I'm sure it's all for Your glory. amen!

There are so many things yet for me to learn. But I am loving this adventurous life. It touches my heart to know more about the love of Christ. It touches my heart to learn more about my friends and family. It touches my heart to spend time with my lovely husband & do nothing!!!

Please give me wisdom and SHOW ME MY MISSION~!
I am in need of finding a career path, Lord.

I do know my calling for life though --> To inspire women to reach their potential and to live a fruitful life!

What about reaching my potential and max out what You've given me, God?
